FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. — The new $90.8 million Big Carlos Pass Bridge is scheduled to open for the first time to traffic after more than two years of construction.
According to Lee County government, Traffic will shift to the bridge on Nov. 13. Once traffic shifts, LeeTran trolley stops on the east side of the bridge will open for service. Bicyclists and pedestrians should be aware that this remains an active construction zone.
