Low rain chances stick around Friday

FORT MYERS, Fla. — More moisture is expected to stream in off the Gulf today, but it will not be a rainy day by any means. Rain chances are only up to 30% for your Friday. We trend even drier tomorrow, with only a 10% chance of rain for the Gulf Coast.

Peeks of sunshine today will help us warm up into the mid-80s for our afternoon high temperatures, which will usher us into a quick stretch of above-average temperatures through this weekend. After that, temperatures tank at the beginning of next week, and we will be feeling the chill.

A strong cold front will drop low temperatures into the 40s across the Gulf Coast by Tuesday morning, and we could potentially break some low temperature records that day as well. For that reason, it is a Gulf Coast Weather Impact Day.
