Lee County murder suspect arrested after multi-county pursuit

HARDEE COUNTY, Fla. — A man wanted in Lee County on murder and burglary charges was taken into custody Sunday after a multi-county pursuit.

The Hardee County Sheriff’s Office says the Lee County Sheriff’s Office contacted them just before noon Sunday, requesting deputies be on the lookout for a 2024 black Dodge dually pickup believed to still be in the area. The driver, identified as Leosbey Cuesta De Armas, was wanted for second-degree murder and first-degree burglary with battery in connection with a Saturday incident in Lee County.
