BARTOW, Fla. (WFLA)— A Lee County murder suspect was captured in Bartow after a multi-county pursuit.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office contacted the Hardee County Sheriff’s Office on Nov. 9, around noon, to request that deputies be on the lookout for a 2024 black Dodge dually pickup truck that was possibly in the county.
The suspect, Leosbey Cuesta De Armas, was wanted for second-degree murder and first-degree burglary with battery for an incident that happened on Nov. 8 in Lee County, deputies said.
