It began in what was a closed-down pizza place named Monks, one street back from Cape Coral Parkway.
There was a brick oven and a small screened-in porch in the back. Inside, wood beams and wood paneling surrounded a tiny bar, bulky yellow chairs and heavy tables. And that was pretty much it.
