Fort Myers Police officers recover as man accused of hitting them arrested

Less than two days after a Lehigh Acres man dragged two Fort Myers Police officers in a suspected reckless driving traffic stop, authorities arrested him across the state.

Fort Myers Police on Nov. 17 announced the arrest of Michaei Tion Archibald, 21, after he struck two officers while fleeing a Nov. 15 traffic stop. One officer sustained minor injuries, and the other suffered serious injuries.
