Man charged in double-murder of his two brothers in Allegany County

Allen, N.Y. (WBEN) – A 65-year-old man from Englewood, FL has been charged with 2 counts of 2nd degree murder after shooting his two brothers in a hunting cabin in Allegany County Sunday night, according to New York State Police.

Troopers responded to the cabin on Botsford Hollow Road in Allen around 10:06 p.m. Sunday where they found the two men dead.

State Police say a physical altercation broke out in the cabin before Scot Thompson shot 70-year-old Mark of Canterbury, CT and 69-year-old David of Port Charlotte, FL with a rifle. Scot Thompson is said to have fled the scene in David’s vehicle…
