The Florida Department of Transportation has released an update on the State Road 739 (North Tamiami Trail) construction in Lee County. The project covers the area from north of the Caloosahatchee River to S.R. 78 (Bayshore Road). The goal is to improve safety and upgrade the road.
Starting December 1, 2025, the eastbound right-turn lanes from Pondella Road to southbound S.R. 739 will be closed. A detour is available.
