FORT MYERS, Fla. — Rain chances will increase later tonight ahead of a slow moving cold front. Isolated showers are possible earlier in the evening proceeded by expanding rain chances later in the night.
Overnight, a line of showers and storms will push through Southwest Florida, with northern counties seeing the highest chance for showers and thunderstorms. This line of showers will lose its intensity as it moves south. Areas north of the Caloosahatchee have slightly higher chances of strong winds and heavy downpours.
Rain chances will also be elevated for the first half of Monday until the frontal boundary clears the area by Monday afternoon. Cooler and drier weather is expected by Tuesday.
Rain totals will range from .25″ to .50″ of rain. A few isolated pockets of heavier amounts are possible especially for northern counties…
