‘Steady’ and ‘loving’; family, community mourns Lt. William Garlick

BABCOCK RANCH — Along with being a Charlotte County Sheriff’s lieutenant, William Garlick was also the “go-to” guy for “cuddles and boo-boo prevention.”

Garlick died Nov. 29 while riding his motorcycle to his home in North Fort Myers after his shift as a corrections officer at the Charlotte County Jail.
