PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. — A man accused of driving 100-plus mph in Port Charlotte was arrested after Charlotte County Sheriff Bill Prummell spotted the speeder himself.
On Wednesday night, Prummell said he saw a red Corvette and a green Jeep traveling at high speeds pass him at the El Jobean Road and Toledo Blade Boulevard intersection.
