Florida’s love affair with Buc-ee’s — the Texas-based travel center known for massive convenience stores, brisket sandwiches, Beaver Nuggets, and spotless restrooms — is entering a new phase. The company continues to expand across the state with multiple planned travel centers in addition to its two existing stores.
Both new locations and the future Port Charlotte location are part of a much larger footprint than the two existing locations in Jacksonville and Daytona Beach (both were roughly 52-55,000 square feet), whereas all three new locations will be 70-80,000 Square Feet. Buc-ee’s newer stores are designed to prepare for future EV infrastructure, handle higher interstate traffic volumes, add wider aisles & expanded food prep areas.
