A southwest Florida community is mourning after a beloved grocery store cashier died after her car crashed into a canal.

On Monday, Dec. 15, around 8 p.m. local time, 72-year-old Diane Boone died after her SUV crashed into a canal in the George Town neighborhood of Fort Myers, and landed upside down, ABC affiliate WZVN and CBS affiliate WINK reported.
