The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Charlotte County is displaying the artwork of local painter Helga Weichselbaum.
A reception will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, in the church sanctuary, located at 1532 Forrest Nelson Blvd., Port Charlotte. The event is free and open to the public. Many of the paintings will be for sale and reasonably priced.
Weichselbaum paints in oils, acrylics and watercolors. Although she paints portraits and still-life as well as landscapes, she loves painting “plein air” to capture nature firsthand.
