FORT MYERS, Fla. — Another beautiful day is in store across the Gulf Coast, as mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures will be the calling card for the day. Expect high temperatures to peak near 80 degrees later this afternoon.
Overnight lows will settle down to the 50s, and some overnight fog is possible.
Monday will be the final day with above-average temperatures, as an approaching cold front will bring sweeping changes just ahead of New Year’s Eve.
A strong cold front will push through Southwest Florida Tuesday morning. Behind this cold front will be cold and very dry air. Starting on Wednesday morning, temperatures will dip all the way down to the lower 40s, and highs will remain in the 60s until the end of the week…
