Florida man buys $20 scratch-off ticket at gas station, wins $5 million prize

HENDRY COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida man claimed a life-changing prize earlier this month at the Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.

The Florida Lottery announced that 58-year-old Agustin Garcia Guerrero of Labelle claimed a $5 million prize from the $5,000,000 CA$H MONEY scratch-off game on Dec. 3.

Garcia Guerrero chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $3,053,000.

Lottery officials said he bought the winning ticket at the Sunshine gas station on Tamiami Trail East in Naples.
