PUNTA GORDA — A Punta Gorda man is facing several charges following a New Year’s Eve car crash on Burnt Store Road, according to police records.
Guy L. Williamson, 72, of 25437 Oresto Court, was arrested on two charges of DUI with property damage, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and refusing to submit to DUI testing, according to the police report released this week.
The crash happened on Dec. 31, when Williamson’s car crashed at 10101 Burnt Store Road, injuring him and his wife, Karen Williamson, who was a passenger, the report states…
