CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) – The Charlotte County Sheriff’s office spent the first part of New Year’s Day searching a Temple in Port Charlotte for a bomb.
It happened just after 1pm Thursday at Temple Shalom on Utica Ave. The temple received the threat, and they notified law enforcement right away.
After evacuating the area and conducting sweeps both outside and inside the buildings, no device was located. Out of an abundance of caution, Charlotte County Fire & EMS were contacted and stayed in the area while the sweep was conducted…
