Gulf Coast Theatre Review: ‘Fiddler on the Roof’

FORT MYERS, Fla. — “Fiddler on the Roof” is the overall best show I have seen at Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre in the 14 years I’ve been attending their performances and that is saying something. This is a production that should not be missed, and with its run continuing through Feb. 14, audiences still have time to experience something truly special.

Though “Fiddler on the Roof” first opened in 1964, its themes feel more timely than ever. Tradition, faith, family and change sit at the heart of this musical, and Broadway Palm’s production brings those ideas to life with remarkable clarity and emotional power.

Much credit goes to director Victor Legarreta, whose casting is nothing short of exceptional. Every single actor shines, creating a strong ensemble where no performance feels secondary.
