Florida Teen Accused Of Shooting Gun In Waffle House Parking Lot Later Found Stabbed

A juvenile accused of firing a gun outside a Florida Waffle House late Saturday night was later found stabbed, prompting a separate investigation, authorities said.

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a report of a shooting in the parking lot of the Waffle House at 810 Kings Highway in Port Charlotte shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday. Detectives learned that a juvenile boy, just a few weeks away from his 18th birthday, was asked by employees to leave because he was being “loud and vulgar”

The boy allegedly became enraged and threw a chair, arguing with staff as he left the restaurant with another male. The second male wrapped the boy in a “bear hug” to restrain him, but the boy broke free, pulled a firearm from his waistband, and fired it once in the parking lot. No one was struck, and the boy and his friend left the scene…
