FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. (WFTX) – A U.S. Navy veteran decided to celebrate his 90th birthday by going parasailing with his granddaughter and doctor along the coast of Florida.
For 90-year-old Arnold “Sonny” Lokken, the secret to getting old is very simple: get out of the recliner and into the sky. The veteran went parasailing last Saturday on Fort Myers Beach, Florida, to celebrate his birthday.
“At my age, if they’re still alive, they’re sitting in a La-Z-Boy, rocking. What fun is that?” Lokken said. “They need to get out here and get up in the air.”…
