Last day of above-average warmth before Monday’s cold front

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Big changes are coming to our weather pattern here on the Gulf Coast. A cold front associated with this weekend’s winter storm is set to move through tomorrow. That means today will be the last really warm day across the state, with highs in the low-to-mid 80s for almost everyone.

Sunday will be dry but gusty with forecast gusts coming from the south around 25 mph at times.

On Monday, the cold front should move through during the morning hours and shift the wind direction to come out of the north. At the same time, a low rain chance builds in tomorrow morning, with coverage only at about 30% as the front moves through…
