On Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at approximately 11:24 a.m., Cape Coral Police officers responded to a reported burglary at a home located in the 2100 block of Cape Coral Parkway West.
According to the initial call, unauthorized individuals were inside the residence despite the property being listed and not currently rented. Upon arriving in the area, officers were informed by witnesses that a man matching the suspect’s description was walking eastbound along Cape Coral Parkway.
Officers quickly located the suspect, later identified as Christopher Darrell Cole (DOB 06/04/1988), who attempted to flee on foot when approached. After a brief pursuit, officers apprehended Cole and took him into custody without injury…
