TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A man was arrested on Saturday after fleeing from law enforcement, leading to a pursuit that spanned multiple counties.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 3:45 p.m., troopers received a request for assistance from the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office and the North Port Police Department regarding a 2025 Blue Lexus SUV that had fled on Interstate 75.
Troopers located the vehicle in Lee County, where they attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the interstate.
