NORTH PORT — New DNA technology has helped cold-case homicide investigators create a rendering of a man who may have been killed by Daniel Conahan, also known as the “Hog Trail Killer.”
Conahan is a convicted murderer and rapist currently on Florida’s death row. Investigators said they believe he killed multiple people between North Port and Fort Myers in the 1990s. Victims were mostly gay men and transients looking for work. Some alleged victims were mutilated and tied to trees in wooded areas.
