CHARLOTTE HARBOR — Shoreline renourishment has been completed at Bayshore Live Oak Park and parts of the park have reopened, Charlotte County officials announced this week.
The park, at 23157 Bayshore Road, Port Charlotte, was severely damaged by a storms going back to Ian and Idalia, but made worse by Helene and Milton in 2024.
Work is continuing on several areas, including the playground. But more areas of the park have been repaired and some safety fencing has come down, reopening areas for access by the public…
