North Fort Myers man accused of robbery, threatening victim with gun

NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. — A North Fort Myers man is accused of robbery with a firearm, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

According to an arrest report, deputies were dispatched to the RaceTrac gas station on Pine Island Road in reference to a reported robbery. LCSO says they talked with the victim, who claimed that a man messaged them on Facebook asking if they wanted to “make a million.”

The victim reportedly gave the man their account number and money started getting put into their account. The report says that the man told the victim to meet him at Suncoast Bank on Pine Island Road, where they would split the money…
