FORT MYERS, Florida — Walter James Marshall, a 31-year-old from Fort Myers, has pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm and ammunition as a convicted felon.
Marshall faces a maximum penalty of 15 years in federal prison, though a sentencing date has not yet been set, according to U.S. Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe. The charges stem from a June 12, 2025, incident when Marshall was stopped by the Fort Myers Police Department for driving on a suspended license.
