LEE COUNTY, Fla. — “Back to the Future: The Musical” is high-tech theater in the 21st century, unlike anything you’ve seen before.
It’s hard to imagine how the beloved 1985 film could ever translate to the stage, but through the magic of lasers, smoke, and moving set pieces, the DeLorean quite literally takes flight, along with the audience’s imagination, at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall in Fort Myers through Feb. 22.
