FLORIDA — Two people were arrested in Charlotte County after deputies said they discovered large amounts of illegal narcotics inside a home where the drugs were allegedly within easy reach of children.
According to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), members of the agency’s narcotics unit conducted an investigation early on the morning of March 3 that led them to a residence where multiple drugs and drug-related items were found.
Detectives reported seizing approximately 3.48 pounds of methamphetamine, along with cocaine and ecstasy. Authorities also found scales, numerous plastic baggies, a vacuum sealing machine, a money counter and $20,685 in cash inside the home…
