Sarasota County, Florida — A Florida grandmother has been arrested after authorities say she stabbed her 76-year-old roommate to death, then fled the scene in the victim’s pickup truck following an argument.
Investigators with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office say 48-year-old Shannon Giblin was taken into custody on March 8 and now faces charges including murder and grand theft auto in connection with the death of Paul De Wayne Bradley.
Officials say the suspect was located in a neighboring county after deputies tracked the victim’s stolen vehicle.
