A North Fort Myers man has been sentenced to nearly half a century in prison for the murder of a 50-year-old neighbor after an altercation that included a dog.
Andrew Perkins, 24, was sentenced to 40 years in prison for second-degree murder with a firearm and attempted second-degree murder with discharge of a firearm, according to the Office of the State Attorney.
