A Cape Coral Police Department officer is on administrative leave after he was arrested Friday after he allegedly battered his spouse.
Officer Timothy Allen was charged with misdemeanor battery (touch or strike) and was taken to the Lee County jail late Friday afternoon. He bonded out shortly after midnight on a $5,000 bond, according to jail records.
