The weather was perfect for the 2026 Cruiser’s Appreciation Day Sunday sponsored by the Fort Myers Beach Anchorage Advisory Committee. The event is held every year at Bayside Park. Mooring Field residents are offered a free meal and a chance to share their stories about why they love anchoring off Fort Myers Beach.
Committee Chair Chris King said it was a beautiful day. “Thanks to our monetary sponsors – Fly Heli Tours, Florida Marine Contracting and Recovery, Sam Lurie, John and Kathy Nash and Ed Schoonover – we were able to provide complimentary meals to our attending Mooring Field boaters and VIPs. We had 19 boaters from 11 mooring balls attend.”…
