Last weekend The Fort Myers Beach Communty Foundation held its annual King of Diamonds Casino Night at Margaritaville Resort where over $20,000 was raised. That money will be given back to the community during an upcoming Foundation meeting.
The event was made possible by generous sponsorships from the Alex King and The King Family Foundation, Margaritaville Resort, Sanibel Captiva Community Bank, and Gavin’s Hardware. Also, many local businesses donated prizes for raffle baskets.
The Community Foundation will distribute the funds at its May 5th meeting to local non-profit organizations. They will also give 19 scholarships to local kidswith funds raised through out the year…
