PORT CHARLOTTE — Michael Melton has joined candidates running for Charlotte County Commission District 4.
Melton, 40, is set to run against incumbent Stephen R. Deutsch and Kim Amontree, who serves as the District 2 representative on the Charlotte County School Board. Four other candidates have also filed for candidacy, but have withdrawn.
