Motorcyclist accused of driving away from deputies, harming K9 following chase at Miromar Lakes

MIROMAR LAKES, Fla. — A Lehigh Acres man is accused of driving away from Lee County deputies, causing a vehicle crash and harming a K9 after a chase at Miromar Lakes Thursday evening.

According to an arrest report from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, deputies saw a person on a motorcycle driving erratically on Ben Hill Griffin Parkway. The report says deputies noticed a bent tag on the motorcycle and tried to perform a traffic stop.
