LEE COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) – A man was arrested Saturday night on DUI and child neglect charges after Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) troopers said he drove impaired with a child in his vehicle.
Troopers said they observed a Chevrolet Silverado traveling east on State Road 82 near Buckingham Road at about 9:33 p.m. on April 18, when the driver made a left turn against a red traffic arrow.
The driver, 43-year-old David Valencia of Lehigh Acres, showed signs of impairment, including slurred speech and a strong odor of alcohol, troopers said…
