On April 30, 2026, Onda Housing Group broke ground on Wave at Colonial, marking a significant milestone in expanding affordable housing options in Lee County. The new development will bring 358 rental units to the area, all designated for residents earning up to 60% of the area median income. The project is the result of a public-private partnership between Onda Housing Group, Lee County, Citi Community Capital and U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance.
