A house hunter in The Villages allegedly attacked a lawn service worker.
Kenneth Brian Herman, 67, of Port Charlotte, was in a pickup, following his realtor who was in a separate vehicle, at about 12:30 p.m. Saturday on Buttonwood Run in the Village of Buttonwood, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
A lawn service worker was pushing a lawn mower to a residence when Herman’s pickup “came hurrying past him.” The man pushing lawn mower said he “threw up his hands” which prompted Herman to roll down his window. The two men began yelling at each other.
Herman got out of the pickup and approached the lawn service worker. During the argument, the 230-pound Herman chest bumped the lawn service worker, who began using his phone to video record the altercation. Another lawn service worker corroborated his co-worker’s version of events. The video also backed up their description of Herman’s hostilities…
