Traffic flowing again after two motorcycle crashes west of downtown

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Two separate motorcycle crashes with injuries caused traffic to pile up just west of downtown. Traffic is flowing again.

According to Fort Wayne dispatch, two crashes occurred Saturday near the intersection of West Jefferson Boulevard and West Washington Boulevard. The first motorcycle crash occurred at 12:45 p.m., just west of the intersection. The second crash happened at 1:10 p.m., just east of the intersection.

At least one of the motorcyclists is confirmed to be in serious condition.

Traffic was initially backed up in both directions, but has since cleared. As of the last check, just one police vehicle is present where the motorcycle still lies…
