Second 2026 application window for Fort Wayne opioid settlement funds now open

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – This year’s second window to apply for funds to assist those overcoming opioid and substance addiction and their families is now open.

City leaders say this round’s applications will close on July 30, at 11:59 p.m., $500,000 of funding will be available for distribution.

City leaders say proposals that expand access to medication-assisted treatment, naloxone distribution, and trauma-informed care; serve populations disproportionately affected by opioid use disorder; and demonstrate data-driven evaluation and evidence-based practices will be prioritized in the selection process…
