FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — An application filed for the old Marsh Supermarket on Fort Wayne’s northeast side shows a potential new future for the location.
According to Fort Wayne Business Weekly, the store at 7301 Maplecrest Road has sat vacant since 2006. WANE 15 has reported on several attempts to turn the space into something new (most recently a a family entertainment center and rumors of the building being turned into a large casino), but the property remains unused.
However a new application for the property is looking to turn the space into a hemp nursery. The owner of the property is Poochickieburger Llc, and has been since 2020.
Property records link Robert Clevenger with the company, but otherwise nothing is known at this time about the project…
