LEO-CEDARVILLE, Ind. (WANE) – At Leo High School, the Lions’ football program is the model for consistency in the Northeast 8 conference.
Leo is coming off their 19th straight winning season with a 7-3 record. However, the Lions’ season ended with back-to-back losses against DeKalb and to eventual 4A state champion Bishop Dwenger in the first round of sectional play.
After losing a solid senior class, the Lions are looking to reload once again on both sides of the ball. Leo is replacing all-NE8 tailback Nathan Foster, who rushed for 2,756 yards and 29 touchdowns in his junior and senior seasons with the Lions.
