FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Fort Wayne leaders have spent months debating how to address homelessness in the city, with the biggest disagreement centered on where a proposed 24/7 homeless resource center should be located.
The city has proposed purchasing and renovating the building at 333 E. Washington Boulevard, near the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission.
City Council is expected to revisit the funding request Sept. 1.
