FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — A tipped-over semi-truck blocked northbound traffic on I-69 for over two hours.
Around 4:15 p.m. on Sunday, a semi-truck tipped over and blocked northbound traffic on I-69 near the 299 mile marker, just south of the Airport Expressway exit.
On the Indiana Department of Transportation’s TrafficWise cameras, another vehicle appears to be involved in the crash.
Around 4:30 p.m., a Public Safety Alert was sent warning drivers of the crash. Fort Wayne Dispatch confirmed that the roadway was closed. It has since reopened after the semi and the passenger car were cleared. The exit ramp was also temporarily closed to allow police and medics to respond to the crash, but it has reopened, letting northbound traffic crawl off the interstate…
