Indiana murder suspect arrested after ‘high-risk’ traffic stop in Lebanon

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A suspect wanted for homicide in Indiana was arrested on Friday after a traffic stop, according to the Lebanon Police Department.

The investigation began Friday, Jan. 19 after Lebanon police received information from officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department about a homicide suspect who may have been in the area.

During the investigation, officers were able to locate the suspect’s vehicle traveling on Leeville Pike.

According to Lebanon police, officers performed a “high-risk” traffic stop on Martha Leeville Road off Highway 109.

The vehicle reportedly stopped, and one of the individuals inside was confirmed to a suspect wanted for homicide in Indiana, authorities said.

After the arrest, detectives executed a search warrant at a residence related to the case to recover additional evidence.
