NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WANE) – New Haven wrestling phenom Julianna Ocampo headlined a banner day for the Bulldogs by winning her third straight sectional title against the boys. Ocampo and New Haven went on to claim the team title by half a point over second place Snider.
Along with Ocampo. three other New Haven wrestlers won individual titles. Snider also had four individual champions. Leo and Homestead brought home two individual champions apiece, while Heritage and Woodlan also claimed a title.
The top four placers from each weight class advance to next Saturday’s IHSAA Regional meet at Carroll High School. Scroll below for the complete results from Saturday’s sectional meet at New Haven.
