FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – The last Sunday in January will be similar how most of the month has gone, a little unsettled. Expect chances for rain showers for the morning hours and the shot for a quick changeover to snow in some locations by the mid morning (mainly to the northwest). Roads will be wet rather than slick, so still be cautious if you plan on traveling Sunday during the first half of the day. By the late morning, precipitation will be mostly rain, as temperatures rise into the upper 30s. This activity will continue until around lunchtime when it will finally wrap up. When all is said and done, an inch of snow mainly on grassy surfaces is possible, but I expect most of the region to receive less given temperatures will be in the upper 30s. Winds will also be a little breezy today out of the north/northwest between 10-20 mph, gusting to 25-30 mph at points, as well.
