FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Ten puppies that were left outside Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control at the beginning of the month are now all going home to their adopted families. It’s a happy ending to a story that started Jan. 3, when FWACC announced a litter of puppies – all between 6 and 7 weeks old – were left in a box at the front door of the facility. Some had escaped the box and were roaming the parking lot in the cold weather when a staff member found them over an hour later.
